To commemorate Father’s Day, Prince Charles shared two beautiful throwback pictures from his family album on the official Instagram account of Clarence House on June 21.
The first picture is a black and white photograph from 1951 of Prince Philip carrying a young Prince Charles – his eldest son – in his arms. Shot at the Clarence House, the picture also featured the Queen as she carried Princess Anne in her arms.
The second picture from 2004 is equally memorable. It is a stunning shot of Prince Charles along with his sons William and Harry at a polo match at Cirencester Park.
“Whether you are a Father, a Dad, a Daddy or a Pa, wishing you a Happy Father’s Day! 1: A young Prince Charles is carried by his father, The Duke of Edinburgh, alongside his sister Princess Anne and mother Princess Elizabeth. Taken at Clarence House in 1951. 2: The Prince of Wales is pictured with his two sons at Cirencester Park Polo Cup in 2004,” Clarence House said in the caption of the post.
