Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh on Sunday shared a rare picture on his social media accounts which took his fans back to the days when there were no mobile phones.
In the picture, Yuvraj along with VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag and Ashish Nehra can be seen talking on public telephones on their tour to Sri Lanka.
Looking at the timeline of the picture, it can be assumed that it’s either from the Coca-Cola Cup in 2001 which was held in Sri Lanka or from the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy, which was also held in the island nation.
“When your parents don’t pay your mobile phone bill after a bad performance ! #throwback to days without,” Yuvraj captioned the post.
His former teammate Harbhajan Singh then had a query on the picture.
“Free call?” Harbhajan asked.
“Calling card Sri Lanka to India ! Hanji mata I’ve reached and Ashu probably saying Abey sun iv reached ab main match ke baad phone karunga! Chat bye,” Yuvraj replied.
The picture also drew comments of praise from a lot of his friends from Bollywood as well.
